THE CONTEXT

Opportunity starts close to home.

Financial hardship and uneven access to local services can interrupt education and limit opportunities for young people and their families.

What are the program objectives?

  • Build local referral and community partnerships.
  • Reach at least 10 counties in 2027.
  • Extend outreach to all 47 counties by 2029.

How will the program work?

Develop a county-by-county calendar with local chiefs, schools and community organizations, combining talent scouting with welfare engagement.

Who is it intended to support?

Under-resourced youth and families in urban and rural Kenyan communities.

What outcomes are expected?

A growing network of county partnerships and documented outreach activity. The 47-county goal is a long-term ambition, not present coverage.
